Why is the White House on lock down when President Obama equates fences to racism?

Not his problem and (shocker) not his job. Yeah, running the WH and it's fence line isn't his job RJ. Read a book and don't post junk until you research it but the lawn and the fence belong to the National Park service. The 'space' the WH occupies is the domain of the SS and the Dept of Homeland Security. That little dumb thing about the POTUS being a piece of the Constitution thingy and a living breathing piece of National Security is why THEY decide on fences, not a president. For example on 9/11, with DC and NYC in flames, Dubya spent most of the day hiding out on the flying WH at Barksdale AF Base in Shreveport LA and then hid out in a bunker at Offutt AFB in Nebraska before getting home that night. You didn't seem to have a problem with it then. To the uneducated eye it would seem that he was just flying around all day while Americans died and two cities burned. Even I can't blame him for that. That all day mess was THEIR decision and not his. And for felons, why not keep an eye on the felons trolling your city 15 miles on the other side of town and not the ones in a boarder town in Mexico scheming to get here. If not, head on down and help the boarder patrol. Best luck.

Your fences comment is baffling. I don't know where you'd get that idea. The White House is on lock down partially because a crazed man with a knife was recently able to enter without much difficulty, but also because there was just a lethal shooting at Parliament Hill in Ottawa (Canada's capital for the fools who don't know). Obama has every reason to be on edge.

Our southern border is stronger than it has EVER been. Do you keep up with the news? Besides, it is a false equivalency because any white house lockdown is due to the attempted intrusion today. Again, do you keep up with the news?

Did you also have a problem with other presidents having security at the White House, or just him?
