In what way would you change the structure of federal government in the USA to make it effective?

    I would wipe out the Senate because having a two chamber government tends to lead to grid-lock. Also it is an undemocratic institution in that a vote for the senate in Nevada counts for more than a vote in California.

    Why on earth should a state with 1 million people get equal power with a state that has 30 million?
