Will Christians ever stop lying about or misrepresenting what Atheists' position actually is?

People believe what they want to. As atheists we can only keep putting our point of view out there. It does have an effect. I myself used to be a fundamentalist Christian at one point and believed the things you mention (atheists hate god, just want to sin, etc). I eventually realized that this isnt the case, in no small part to people on the internet debunking these myths. Thanks, rev soleil. Keep up the good work.

Will atheists ever stop being so goddamn full of themselves and learn to appreciate and respect other people's beleifs instead of brining those down?? But of course, atheists are smarter than everyone simplly because they are atheists. They are smarter than Einstein too.

But if all of those hungry, thirsty, hurting People never cross your path then they get no help from you.

I don't do all of those things to go to heaven or get rewards. I help all of those everyday. I ask Jesus to lead me to those in need and he does.

You don't have a God or Jesus leading you so you claim to do all of those things. Sometimes people need prayer just to lift them up. What do you do then.

What a shame you don't know what atheism is. What you are describing is humanism. There are both atheist and theist versions of that religion.

Atheism is a philosophical position on the meaning of existence. An atheist argues that existence can only be temporary. Only the temporary universe exists and there is no permanent existence that theists define as God. That means that a temporary universe came into existence with no permanent framework into which it could exist. As a philosophy, that's about as daft as the Bible-bashers' religion.

However, you are neither atheist nor humanist. If you were either, you would not care whether some of us worship God, or a book. You are an obsessive God-denier who feels it necessary to be a troll on the R&S section and insult anyone who expresses religious views. Get help before your illness destroys you.

No, Christians wont stop using tactless tactics of dishonesty to support their irrational and unsubstantiated beliefs. I cant really blame them for using asinine assertions, lies, logical fallacies galore and even in many cases insults, to defend their position. What else do they have to support their beliefs with? Nothing at all. No rational arguments and no evidence for their ridiculous beliefs.
