Why do I feel like notes say their name when they're played?

Like if I play a C on a piano, I can almost hear that note say "C." It's really weird.

    Sounds almost like synesthesia, where inputs from one sense are associated by the brain with another sense, but since only the sense of sound is involved, I'm not sure what you would call it.

    If it happens when you don't have any way of knowing which key has been pressed, you may have perfect pitch.
