There's this girl that I recently kinda like, but I've had past experiences with girls and I just get hurt every time. I wish I didn't fall in love, but I do. I fear that I may be falling in love with this one girl, but she's just so amazing and I know she'll just cause me pain in the end. I used to like her a while ago but she had a boyfriend and I was so hurt by the pain that I thought it would be a good idea to just shut everybody out of my life. She's really beautiful and talented and I don't know if I'm worth that. Another reason why I think she's too good for me is because she has perfect pitch, which essentially means she has the ability to hear a note and give the name of the pitch with nearly 100%, if not 100%, accuracy. My choir teacher says I also have perfect pitch, but it's "undeveloped" and I'm still in the process of developing it and learning how to use it effectively, since I just started singing last year. I'm worried I'll completely **** up with it and feel like I'm not even worth her time because of that one mistake. Though perfect pitch is also one of the reasons why I like her. And supposedly she's also not allowed to date, though she has said that it depends on the guy. This would mean that even if I can appeal to her and get past the fact that I may not even be worth her time in the first place, I'd still have to appeal to her parents. She smiles at me a lot, which is what caused me to like her in the first place, but I have no idea why she does that.

My father has always physically beat me, but he usually does it as a form of punishment. He claims that it's all right and I kinda believe him, but I'm starting to be afraid of my own parents because he does it so frequently. He punched me hard in the stomach when I mentioned not enjoying clarinet anymore and threatened to break my clarinet. Even if this is child abuse, I don't really want to tell anybody about it for fear that I would be left without much of a family and my family would all hate me. He's also not entirely bad but when he's pissed off he'll usually physically beat me at the sound of the words shut up. My mother and brother also tend to take after my father. I think my brother might have broken (or seriously injured) my back when he was beating me one time because ever since that day I have had the worst back pains and I am the only child my age with back pains. As far as I'm comcerned usually only older people get back pains. I always hear about my father having back pains. My father has also scared me before by joking around and trying to feed my dog, whom I love dearly as she is the only real family I have, beer. For those of you that don't know, dogs can die if they drink beer. Luckily I stopped him before she drank anything so she is still alive. Am I wrong or is my father actually an animal and child abuser?

I had all county last night for voice, which was my second or third vocal audition ever. I was terrified that I wouldn't get in since I'm only a sophomore competing against juniors and seniors. Last night I dreamt that I was in school and my choir teacher was calling off the names for people who got in and I was waiting for my name to be called, but it never was. Is this a warning that I probably won't get in or is just just my fear that I won't?

I'm an aspiring actor and I've been trying to learn to act, though I've participated in small class plays and whatnot and have really enjoyed them. Afterwards, I'm usually told that I'm a really good actor and am really talented. However, I think I have a tendency to overact, even when I can perfectly imagine a scene in my head. When I don't try, I'm told that I am really talented. I even had a teacher a couple years ago ask me why I'm not famous yet. He seemed shocked at my skill, which I didn't even realize I was doing. When I do try, however, I usually overact and the scene or monologue ends horribly on my part. How do I stop overacting?

I'm wondering if the new ouija board movie is any good because I'm planning to go see it with a friend of mine. She's just starting to get into watching horror movies but I've always loved them because I grew up watching them. How scary is it? Is it good for somebody who hasn't seen several horror movies before and is just starting to get into them? Thanks!

Recently I've noticed that I'm hearing notes almost pronounce their name, such as a C note saying C. I talked to my vocal teacher about it and he told me to sing a C (which is why I gave the example I did) and he checked it on the piano. It was correct. I've been listening to more and more music and in my mind I'm just like "G#, G... A, C, E..." I later check a lot of those pitches to find that I'm correct. I've also heard random noises coming from outside my house to find that I can identify most of those pitches. I identified one noise (not sure what it was coming from, to be honest) as a Bb. But the thing is, if I do have perfect pitch, why would it wait until I'm 15 years old to finally start popping up? Doesn't that seem kinda strange? Why wouldn't I have noticed it before? Is it just because I didn't start singing until a year ago so what was a Bb concert pitch was a C on my Bb clarinet or...? I'm just really curious about this seventh sense (my sixth sense is the ability to sense when something chaotic is about to happen) that I seem to have.

I looked at her and I saw her looking at me then she jerked her head to the side. I think I also saw her smiling. Though this isn't really too relevant to anything concerning me since I will probably never see this girl again, I am still very curious to know what that means. In addition, if it does mean she likes me, it gives me a huge ego boost. But the problem is that I honestly don't consider myself to be that good looking. I am one of the ugliest guys I know and so no girl I know would ever fall in love with me or think I'm good looking. Though it certainly isn't my best picture, the guy in the profile picture is me.

There's this one girl I recently really like. She used to seem to like me but recently she's been avoiding me and I have no idea why. I think my sister asked her on Monday what she'd say if I were to ask her out to homecoming and she said that she would just be going with friends. One time I planned on asking her out but instead of saying "I suppose I could learn to be honest. And I'll start today. Mika... homecoming..." I said "I suppose I could learn a lesson about honesty... I just wish I could. haha." Cue nervous laughter. That was one instance in which I was too scared to ask her out because of my lack of self confidence. Today her friends were pulling her in my direction as I was talking to my friend and she looked like she was trying to walk back in the opposite direction, either because she was trying to go back to the other guy she likes or because her friends were pulling her towards me and she was too shy. Her friends ended up pulling her past me so I think it was probably that she was walking back towards the other guy but her friends were pulling her away from him.
