I can't tell if I broke my hymen?
I looked in the mirror and didn't see anything. I can fit stuff in like the size of a makeup brush pretty deep but when it comes to bigger stuff it seems harder to get in. I have not yet had sex with my boyfriend. I just want to know if you think its broken? Thanks.
i now understand that they do not break. i am just wondering if you think it will hurt. i know some people can't get even a finger in but i can get more. thats why i was wondering if you think its still intact.

It'll always hurt for the first time, for sex if that's what you're asking. I don't think you can really tell if you're hymen broke unless you go to the doctor. Stop shoving make up brushes up your pananny. That's wierd. Save your virginity when you get older or at least do a lot of research. When I was a virgin I would search up how to do a good job in bed and what is not safe during sex. Girls tend to get a couple of infections when they start to have sex.

well no you didn't.. ur hymen doesn't "break" its a tissue that's in the vagina that usually has an opening in it (rarely does is it fully cover). and say if you have sex, or use an object for penetration while masturbating, the object is usually bigger then the opening in the hymen and so the hymen tears a little and there may be some blood. the one part that people don't realize is that the hymen will go back to the way it was if you dont have sex, its not something that "breaks" and you cant get back. so u may have torn it but it will go back to normal unless your putting things in there

Hymens don't "break". they're not actually covering anything, they just keep it tight. The bleeding and breaking you might associate with the hymen is just tearing from being to rough. I recommend putting in gradually larger objects over the course of a week or so, to make you the most comfortable. You should be able to fit in a hairbrush handle by the time it's fully stretched.

First of all: your hymen is not something that breaks. It's a tissue that eventually gets stretched out over time, and it can get stretched out from doing all sorts of things (tampons, riding bikes, gymnastics, etc). Whether or not your hymen is torn has nothing to do with you having sex. If you do not know basic anatomy, maybe you shouldn't have sex with your boyfriend.
