My sink in this old dorm is something out of the 50's or 60's. It has always taken forever to drain since I have moved in but today when I came home I walked into my room to find cloudy blackish water in my sink that smelled absolutely rancid. It instantly gave me a headache. It is close to midnight and I don't have any products to drain this.

Why does it smell so rancid and why is water coming back up out of my sink?!

Okay so my dorm room sink is something out of the 50s or 60s. There are 2 separate faucets for cold and hot water if that gives a better visual. Anyway, there's been several times that my suite mate has actually thrown up in our sink. I was able to get a cleaning service from our school to clean it out because I guess it was a health hazard but I've noticed that ever since the third time she's done this, it is really difficult for water to drain. It takes forever and sometimes even comes back up with a RANCID smell. What can I do to fix this?! I can't live with a clogged sink. Simple things like brushing my teeth have become difficult and I can't deal with waking up in the middle of the night because of the smell and dirty water. Are there things she can buy to fix this? She offered to go to the store tomorrow.

My whole life I have struggled with math. There have been years when I have had tutors 6 days out of the week for hours and I'd go into school and fail the test. It just seems like my brain can't process math. Are there any people like this? I'm in college and it's a real struggle for me to pass math right now. I don't know what to do anymore. Nothing works. Studying, tutoring, ANYTHING. I can't give up. That's not an option.

I am writing an essay about the Acts of the Apostles and one of the questions I have to address is how after reading Acts, what do I think about the origin of Christianity?

I had strep throat about 2 weeks ago. I took my 10 days of antibiotics but a few days ago I've gotten a bad sore throat that kind of goes away during the day but still there but more painful during the night and morning. I've had a cough and greenish yellow snot whenever I blow my nose. Its not as painful as strep but I'm wondering if it came back? Usually if I have a cold my sore throat goes away fast. This just doesn't go away. It's been days now. Help please! I'm probably going to the student health center next week if I can't figure this out.

Tonight my dorm room key must have fallen off my lanyard in the dining halls. I don't think anyone would steal it because it doesn't even have my room number on it but just in case it doesn't show up, my school charges $100 for new locks. That is RIDICULOUS and I'm really trying not to pay that much. Is there any way that I could go to a lock store and have them make me a key without them coming to my residence hall? I'm not really sure if we're supposed to have random lock smiths come. I think the school would get mad because they want our money. I need suggestions because I'm broke. :'(

About a week ago I was turning in my sleep and I slammed my head against the wall next to the bed somehow. When I woke up from this, I was still half asleep but I hit my head very hard. It hurt a lot. I seemed to be fine the next day with no bruising. It wasn't until a few days ago that I felt as if my forehead was tight. There's really no other way I can explain it. My forehead and head just feel tight and sometimes when I move it almost feels like I can feel my brain move. Weird, I know. I've also had a LITTLE bit of blurred vision. Nothing dramatically different, as well as sensitivity to light in certain places. I think this could possibly be a concussion. I've had one before but these symptoms seem worse because now I really feel it in my head. Should I see a doctor? I don't know what they could really do for me but I'm considering it.

A few minutes ago her and a random guy came stumbling into our dorm. This already makes me uncomfortable. We live in a suite style but we share a bedroom yet still have a living room. I don't know why but our bedroom door does not shut so I am having to listen to this. I am enraged because it is now 4:15 in the morning and I have an 8am class. She is selfish and I need advice and opinions. Is this right of her to do? I am planning on speaking to housing tomorrow about moving because this is not the only time s*** like this has happened, this is just the worst time.

I have very fair skin and some freckles. A freckle on my leg (actually it could be a mole but looks like a freckle) started bothering me today. It peeled a little bit and has risen. It also is a dark brown color, which is always has been, but there's an even darker brown or black spot on the edge of it. What could this be you think. I'm calling my derm. asap

I'm attending a public university of out state but I have a feeling I'll end up back in my home state. Will my credits transfer? I'm nervous about that. I know Id be better off asking my school but anything helps!

A few months ago I was practically dancing in the streets that high school was finally over but the closer college gets (which is now about a month away), I can't help but think that things are going to be very different. Living in another state where I don't know anyone does scare me. I'm going to miss home and my family. I also fear I won't be able to talk to my boyfriend as much. The more I think about it the more I just seem to think I'm doing more of what my mom wanted me to do because she never got the opportunity to attend a big college like the one I'm going to. I think I just wanted to keep everyone happy. Is it normal to feel this way? I understand that college is a priviledge and I'm so thankful for the opportunity but I'm scared.

I'm not used to sharing a room and being in another state for extended periods of time. Is it possible to transfer after a semester if I don't like it? I have so many thoughts running through my mind it's just all beginning to be very stressful for me. I'm not happy anymore knowing that soon I'm not going to be home.

Lately my mom has been getting very bad heat flashes. Her face turns red and she has to wipe sweat off of her face, that's the amount of sweat she has. It's embarrassing to her and concerning to me. I at first thought it was maybe menopause but she isn't even 50 yet. What could this be? It happened out of nowhere but has been happening every day.

I noticed that lately my face is getting oily a lot faster. I've actually been using stronger face products so I'm not sure if it's because of that or the hot weather? I just feel like my face looks dirty even though I take great care of it and spend lots of money. Even my makeup seems to look dirty. I just want to have a fresh, clear, glowing complexion. Any recommendations on face washes or makeup products? I'm oily and acne prone. Don't recommend clean and clear or any of the drug stores. Tried them all.

I had taken a package of chicken I wasn't able to cook that week and put it in the freezer, uncooked still in the packaging. The package says it should have been cooked April 12. Since it was in the freezer is it okay to cook or no? Is that only when you freeze cooked chicken?
