I don't feel like doing anything?

Update:

When I have some free time, like on a Sunday afternoon or holiday, I don't feel like doing anything. You can say get off my *** and do something like exercise or a hobby or go outdoors or do some house cleaning, or read a book, watch a movie.... But that's the thing, I don't feel like doing any of it, they all seem pointless and there is nobody around to tell me to get off my ***.

So all I end up doing is lie down and dwell on my problems or regrets. What a wasted day.

I try to project myself a little into the future and imagine how I will feel if I do, or don't do, whatever it is I don't want to do.

This works really well for running because, even if the run feels terrible during, I never end a run regretting that I did it. So, I can tell myself "you will feel good after this run". "But I don't wannaaaaaa!" still wins every now and then, but it helps.

I get that and its a real pain in the ***

    1. I force myself to play a video game and force myself to enjoy it. Like you are going to the the **** down your going to play this and you will enjoy it.

    2. I do jobs just to get money cause ive got nothing better to do

    3. I sleep

    4. I think

    5. I eat (that sometimes helps)

    6. I wait

    7. I watch tv

    8. I do anything that needs doing (homework for example)

    9. I go to the toilet and think

It really is a waste of a day but these are some things that help me and I hope they help you to. That last one helps me the most to be honest. (I just sit there).

Those are symptoms of depression. So tell a dr. about this and ask or Zoloft, an excellent antidepressant.

Take super B complex vitamins daily; they give you energy.

Join some groups and clubs. Get a dog, teach him ttricks, take him hiking or biking.

Find a big HAPPY church, attend some groups and have fun.

Talk with the pastor; where else can youget FREE counseling?

Then don't, you will eventually get bored not doing anything and then you'll

    want to do something.

You just lie there and dwell, sounds like depression. Maybe talk to a doctor about it.
