It's vinyl siding and the warping is localized across separate pieces. It's the result of concentrated sunlight being reflected from a nearby object. A high amount of heat is required to do this.

This happened to me; I had removed a sliding glass door from my house during a renovation and leaned it up against the fence outside. The sun bounced off the glass and cooked the siding - the smell was pretty strong.

I'm guessing heat. Do you always park a reflective, shiny car right there?

Heat is the only thing I can think of. What's in/behind that wall?
