No, just because his friend is cheating it doesn't mean that he will cheat too. Pay more attention to how your husband reacts to his friend's behavior. Does your husband think it's okay that his friend is cheating? Does your husband tell you that he knows it is wrong and he wishes his friend would stop?

Focus more on your husband as a person to determine if you think he might be the cheating type. Try not to assume that he's a cheater too just because his friend is.

I can understand why you are concerned. Depends if he is the cheating type. To your knowledge has he ever cheated on a woman before? I would think if the answer is yes, that he might cheat on you. Also if he never has, he may be trying to be this man's voice of reason.

Not necessarily but statistics do show that the more people in a man's life that he is close to (relatives, good friends) who condone and encourage cheating the more likely that man is to feel that it's ok to do.

How can you just assume that your husband will cheat because his friend does it? That's kinda low. Unless he's ever shown signs of cheating then no, he won't copy his best friend.
