Thinking of getting a Pug as a companion for my French Bulldog?

I have a 5 year old Frenchie who I adopted 2 years ago from a breeder who no longer wanted her. She is sweet and gentle. A wonderful companion but I can tell she misses being around other dogs. When she sees other dogs at the park she gets excited and acts just like a puppy. That said, I am thinking of getting a Pug so she can have a buddy. Does anyone have experience with these 2 breeds? Do you think they will get along? I've though of getting another Frenchie but they are difficult to come across through rescue (healthy ones anyway).

Frenchies and pugs are very friendly social breeds they get along with any one

I've had both when younger and they got great

The only problem is trainability like in comparasing with a coolie or lab they take longer to learn

But if that if not a problem than get which one you like most

If you choose to get one, I just want to tell you to do the same you did with your frenchie, adopt him/her! You'd be saving money and a life and I'm sure there's plenty of pugs to adopt!! Good luck!
