In baptism, I was covered with the blood of Christ that washed away my sins as is commanded by Christ, Himself, and through the Apostles.

You receive the gift of Sanctifying Grace when you are baptized in His death by water, by desire, or by blood. But as Christ entered into His baptism only one we are baptized in His death only once.
As for Christ He is bound by the Sacraments He instituted but He Himself is not exclusively only bound too them. The Holy Spirit the giver of life distributes the gift of Sanctifying Grace as He decides the Sanctifying Grace is Christ Whom is life. Those whom don't have Sanctifying Grace within themselves do not have Christ within themselves they are without life (dead). As Christ was raised on the third day we will be raised through Him in spirit (soul) for those who have the gift of Sanctifying Grace within themselves they have Christ within themselves and will never die. For no one can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven unless it's through Christ.
The Divine Person the Son is God.
