Help with (gay) dating about how to talk to a guy about slowing things down...?
So me and this guy have been talking about about a month this weekend. To me, we're just "talking" and considered single. To him, we're "exclusive" and shouldn't be hooking up/talking to anyone else. I like the kid, but i wanna take things slow (another 3-4 months) before we make it officially exclusive! How would you break it to someone?

Have an honest open discussion with him you called him kid. If it's an age difference that needs 3-4 months to resolve. Let him know. Or simply tell him that you really like him. And feel like you need more time to bond before consumating the relationship.

You shoukd tell him how you feel. Tell him gently, and explain that you like him but you feel like more time is needed before the relationship becomes a serious one.
