Backing out of Army ROTC Contract and scholarship?
I'm a freshman that contracted last month with an Army Rotc scholarship, but I'm thinking about leaving. Will I pay back the scholarship they've already given me even though I'm a freshman or am I allowed to leave without paying it back since I'm only a freshman?

I understand that your freshman year is a bit of a "grace period". You are given this year to check out the program, and you're allowed to change your mind without having to pay back the money you received for this year. You have to change your mind before you start your sophomore year.
You've only been in for a month, and that month is an extremely stressful time, full of change, for all freshmen. I'd suggest you give this a bit more time, to be sure before you talk to the program about leaving.
