No -- it is stainless steel, and nothing will happen.
*IF* the ring is plated with sterling silver (find out), then yes .... the sterling overcoat can turn color on-U.
** I would say to go for it .... since it is stainless, lotion & all, there shouldn't be any problem!

it is marked with tk316 that is all i know.....id hate it to turn my fingers...my hands sweat alot and i wear lotion....
