Pistorius, famous for being the first disabled person to compete in the Olympics and for murdering his girlfriend, is a 4th cousin of Prince Philip (Queen Elizabeth’s husband). While he is very far into the line of succession, he can never be King of Britain. A little known law that was enacted in the 19th century prohibits people with no legs from being the head of the British Monarchy.

Oscar Pistorius is not related to the British Royal family, much less Prince Philip and questions about him do not belong in the Royalty forum.

The sentence for murder in the UK is mandatory life imprisonment, subject to a tariff in which the judge has a certain amount of discretion regarding the minimum term to be served.
However, the unspeakable Pistol Us was convicted of a lesser offence under South African law, a judgement that the prosecution is absolutely rightly appealing. In any case, I doubt the ancient satyr of Buck House will put him on his guest list.

The British royals...especially Prince Philip...have access to secret connections that enact clandestine plans for bad things to happen to people not in the royals' favour.

No, as one of the anonymous has stated, he was convicted of culpable homicide (known as "Manslaughter" in the U.K) NOT murder. That means that the court deemed It as, killing without the intent to do so, big difference BIIIIIG difference. I very much doubt whether Pistorious received any leniency due to the fact (?) that he is distantly related to Prince Philip (if in fact he is related to him) it would make absolutely no difference in South Africa.

Your question (and answer) sounds like libel suit waiting to happen.
Pistorious was tried by a court and found NOT GUILTY of murder.
