I'm a socialist and I'm not in favor of a less free economy, I'm in favor of free healthcare, excellent social security, free universities and private schools and otherwise an extensive welfare state. Denmark, Sweden and Finland are amongst the 10% of countries with most economic freedom. A welfare state does not have to mean less economic liberty.

A Progressive socialist sees things with the belief the government is the answer to our problems. They do not accept personal responsibility for their lives and rely on the government to permit them to live off other people's money.
How are you gonna get them to talk rathionally with a moral code?
