FWB, I might be falling for him while he is not?

I met a military man on a dating site. We talked on the phone and he was nice and really interesting. After a few days I agreed to meet him. He was nice and a gentleman, I had sex with him on the first night. The second night we did it, he told me he doesn t want a serious relationship. So, I said it s okay, we can just be friends. I m growing fond of him and I always cuddle with him and teases him and tells him that I like him, but I m not in love with him. It s been a month and we are now so comfortable with each other where we throw mean jokes and say whatever we want. He calls me every night, and he spends his weekends with me. We've been hanging out and going for dinner and places, and he introduced me to his friends. However, when I told him that I like him. He said he doesn't like me and doesn't want me. However, I'm confused because he spends time with me and nice to me. Should I cut him off my life? I enjoy his company. I'm afraid I might really fall for him and be deeply hurt later.

What he's telling you is that he will drop you if someone else he finds more interesting comes along. My problem is that "He said he doesn't like me and doesn't want me." To me it sounds like he wants companionship with you, but you're just a "filler" for now. Does he still have a profile on the dating site?

Think he like you more that he lets on, since he is spending all his spare time with you. Think you can continue for a while, without saying anything of course, and see where it goes, he might decide he likes you more than he lets on the more he spends time with you. Just use caution when talking about your feeling, say "I like your company" instead of "I like you" and such.
