Do you realize that we would have fewer unemployed Veterans today if the Republicans hadn't block President Obama's Veterans Jobs Bill?
WASHINGTON - Senate Republicans blocked legislation Wednesday that would have established a $1 billion jobs program putting veterans back to work tending to the country's federal lands and bolstering local police and fire departments.

Local police and fire departments are paid for locally genius. So he wants a billion dollars for more retraining programs to give to education/unions. These programs already exist, he might try to make the economy at large more vibrant but socialists are bad at that. Throwing tax payer money to unions they are great at, sadly that doesn't create jobs. Hence the lack of support. Why didn't the genius use his pen or his phone? Because its just something shiny to distract a low information voter like yourself. There is no THERE there.

You mean the one that was never considered by the committee and was instead just rushed to the floor straight away without ANY discussion or insight? That was a CLEAR case of Democrats trying to play posturing games. Of course it was blocked, and that's what Democrats wanted to happen, so they vould then cry that Republicans hate veterans. It was pure politics. One of the oldest tricks in the book.

$1 billion jobs bill that would have created $ 500million in jobs for political hacks, $ 400 million in waste, and $ 100 million for real jobs for some few veterans, why would not any member of congress jump on that bandwagon?

Oh yes, that TWO YEAR OLD JOBS BILL STUCK IN THE SENATE BY DEMOCRATS. Yes, I remember that bill. Why are Republicans responsible for what Democrats refuse to do?

Your campaign ad is far too late to save Harry Reid's position of power.
