Why so many hate mongers in the internet?

Why do they keep insulting or disturbing someone whom they don't even know? Are they simply Psycho's?

online, there's no accountability. most ppl don't feel bad for doing something wrong. they only feel bad about getting caught, being judged, harming their reputation, becoming disliked... on the internet, ppl's true character comes out. a lot of ppl r secretly selfish low life scum. I bet if we had to post a big fat picture of our face, and maybe actually speak instead of type, there'd b a lot less hate bc it would b more personable. their conscious would step in a little more. when u say something mean or hateful online, it can hurt just as bad as someone saying it to ur face, but the person who said it doesn't feel bad bc they aren't viewed by anyone as the terrible person who said it, and they don't have to actually see the hurt they do, so it's out of site, out of mind. ignorance is bliss kind of thing. it's mainly the uneducated that act in this way.

I would guess that they cannot feel good about themselves, so they attack others. They are generally cowards because they do this attacking anonymously being afraid to confront someone to his/her face.
