PS3 message autocorrect: how to disable?

When sending a message to a friend, I get a weird auto-correct often. For example, I try to type "team", and it comes out with "eam" underscored, and when I space to go to the next word, it deletes the "eam". It does this for other words; I was unable to space after typing numbers, as well.

I m not sure where in the settings to change this, and wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

    Try deleting the predictive dictionary: Settings > System Settings > Delete Predictive Text Dictionary

    See if that helps.
