I NEED TECH SUPPORT?
My kindle fire HD has been acting weird. Whenever I try to play a YouTube video the screen just jolts to the side when I press play or try to expand the screen it
freezes and says "silk is not responding" I don't want to reset to factory default.

Try a regular reset (nothing will be deleted). Turn off the Kindle. Then hold power ON for 30 seconds. Now let go of the power button. The Kindle should do a long reboot and that should shut down any leftover running tasks from other apps that may be holding onto memory etc.
Also think about any apps you have recently installed - maybe one is causing a problem 9for example is you installed something to download videos from Youtube).
And try a different video - may the one you are trying does not have a suitable fullscreen resolution.
