Faceplate Issues?

I have a Pioneer DEH-9400BH and when I go to push the volume button to go into the menu ( to change colors of face, tune the audio, set the clock, ect) it goes into the menu but as soon as I let go of the volume knob it goes out of the menu. Is this a issue I can fix or do I have to replace the faceplate?

Inspect the back button. Top right of the volume knob. That's the only button which will back out of a menu once in it. If it's sagging, sticky, etc, you can try a little isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip to clean it. But short of that, it's broken man. Not much you can do. If you were able to find a working faceplate from another 9400BH, that would work fine.
