In what country is the TV show Vikings set? They talk about traveling west to England but England is east of Scandinavia?

    The series is set in Denmark, though some episodes take place in England, Sweden and other locations. The main character Ragnar is very loosely based on the legendary Danish hero and King Ragnarr Loðbrók.

    Sailing due west from Denmark will put you on the east coast of southern Scotland, which as that time was the Kingdom of Northumbria.

    England is WEST of Scandinavia - try looking at a map! (or South-West to be more precise).

    look at a map, or at least google earth. BTW read the legand / map key / compass rose to see what way is east and west
