Can sound pop a baloon?(or any inflatable?)?
yesterday, i was in a basketball court watching a game. Then, the game ends and the buzzer sounds. then, I have this random thought pop into my head. if someone pointed an air horn or any loud noise object at a baloon or any inflatable (such as a basketball), will it pop?

No,the material,such as rubber,is flexible enough that it will vibrate enough that it won't pop.Even if the balloon were made of glass,it probably would not be the right frequency to break..Nikola Tesla did experiments with the densities of objects.He built a device that he could dial up or down and make various objects in the room vibrate.Even buildings.When the police visited the 'resident loony' mad scientist after such an occurrence,he threatened to bring down the Brooklyn Bridge if they didn't leave him alone.One of the great minds of the last century.What does he get?A car named after him.
