    Outdoor Temperature Gauge For Car

I believe its called the ambient air temp sensor. Its mounted in the location that the other poster mentioned. Its not called the ect or temp sensor. The temp sensor is for the cooling system gauge on your dash that tells you how cold or hot the antifreeze is,so don't buy this sensor in confusion.Buy the ambient air temp sensor instead. Not trying to be a smart a** by correcting another posters answer, just making sure you don't waste money buying the wrong sensor.

Move to a warmer climate! It too cold where you live and drive! You can try replacing the sensor, The sensor is center of the grill on the vertical metal support that attaches to the hood latch.
