If you could choose to go back & meet your ancestors or go into the future & meet your great great great grandchildren what would you pick?

If you could choose to go back and meet your ancestors or go into the future and meet your great great great grandchildren what would you choose? (I'd pick the past as I'd be wary of influencing things in the future.)

    I would go back and meet my ancestors.

    I never saw my dad's family at all, his mam died young and then my dad was taken by the Germans into forced labour in WW2, he was then conscripted into the German army.

    He escaped though and made it to Italy then joined the British army.

    Edit: Surely visiting the past could also influence the future.
