What does "socratic" mean.?

    Since Socrates's basic method of clarifying issues and getting at the truth was asking a series of logically connected questions, the term "socratic" denotes or means this process of discovery as well as more broadly following the teachings of Socrates.

    I think the key element in 'socratic' - It's philosophy that results from bouncing of deep ideas between people in order to come to a better understanding. yes Socrates would then use those converstions to tell of his philosophy but it is key that discussion is involved to get there.
