It depends on if the baptism was a valid Christian baptism as had been done with proper form and matter.

Some organizations claim they are of His Church but rather they are not in which their baptism is of improper form or matter which would make it an invalid Christian baptism. A Christian enters into the Church as a member through their baptism so it's a big deal in regards to whether or not the baptism is of proper form and matter in would make the difference from the person being a Christian or Non-Christian (unbaptized). Also there are Christian denomination which do use a proper form and matter but they way people are baptized leaves to question if the individual person would indeed be properly baptized. Which is why it's not recommended for a Christian denomination to use an aspergill to sprinkle the water over a group of people to baptize them being that if the water does not come in contact with the skin (flesh) they haven't been properly baptized. Also a person can not baptize themselves rather either an Ordained Minister has to baptize them or under extraordinary circumstances which pertains to Non-Catholic Christians another baptized member of His Church.

A Christian can only be baptized once as Christ entered into His Baptism (His death) only once. It's actually heretical to be baptized multiple times which would be in relation to Christ entering into His Baptism (His death) multiple times. Any other baptism after having been baptized once are invalidated.

If your concern is about the size of the church you attended, then you still do not understand what baptism is about.

My suggestion is that you do a really good study on the topic, find out what it is about and why you should do it. Wait until you both have that understanding AND a desire to be baptized. THEN get baptized.

Not silly at all! Baptism is a symbol of your commitment to Christ and identification with His death and resurrection. People are often rebaptized when they recommit their lives to Christ. If you feel you didn't take it seriously the first time and want to reaffirm that commitment, then you should go for it. Especially since you are with a different body of believers, it would certainly be appropriate. Baptism is similar to a wedding ceremony; the ceremony itself is not what constitutes marriage, the signed marriage license does. But the ceremony is a symbol of the commitment between husband and wife. Likewise, the "legal" agreement between you and God is the repentance you made in prayer to Him. Baptism is the public and symbolic declaration of that.

You can be baptized as mych as you want but the only direction you need is a Growing relation With Jesus.

    Jesus: follow me.

I have not yet found a scripture that tells of what church you should go to. but i do know in the new testament of Jesus preaching about Naming a church.

Though I go to a LDS church I dont take everything to heart so easily.

Question everything yet remember this as you do, non of us have perfect memory, or know everything.

The Christian teaching on baptism is that you get one baptism. It has been held to be that since the earliest Christians. It really is irrelevant if you felt it or not. Babies don't feel it but that doesn't alter they are baptized.

You are or you are not Christian.

How in the good name of thousands of gods did you last ten years in that church without being forced to be stained & dyed by the leader of the pack.?

It is contrary to the teachings of most Christians, but there are those who will do it anyway. Some will do it because Baptism is not seen as important as the private moment when a person becomes Christian.

You can be baptized again. No problem.
