I bought a $249 Xbox 360 and it came a $50 gift card. This was Walmart. I wanna take the 360 back; its unopened. Can I keep the gift card?
There's no stipulation that says they have to get it back. Just that you get one upon purchase. I've read their gift card policy and it doesn't say anything about returning it. In fact, it says gift cards aren't returnable.
The language is "FREE with purchase".

It amazes me how people try to get something for free.
If you think you can keep the card then why do you need to ask. You don't think Walmart had its lawyers look over the language to make sure that people like you can get free money. Just go and return it and see if you get to keep the 50$ gift card.
The language only applies to gift cards that you buy. It doesn't apply to gift cards that are given as part of a purchase.
