Is There a Way to Fight the Department of Social Services?
My wife and I receive SNAP benefits to help get food we need. We recently found out that our case worker (now former case worker) failed to input all of my wife s educational info and because of this we are being told WE have to pay back almost $500. The fraud investigator told us DSS-8554 essentially says it doesn t matter who is at fault, the recipients must pay back regardless. We found out that our case worker quit very soon after the error was discovered. Both papers we received in the mail clearly state it is due to administrative error.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics5 years agoCan you play original Xbox games on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility?
With the new backwards compatibility allowing 360 games to be played on the Xbox One and the 360 able to play Xbox games, this has me wondering if One can play the original Xbox games. It would make sense.

4 AnswersOther - Health6 years agoWhy are so many Protestants and Catholics rude?
I am a Latter-Day Saint. I was banned from a so-called Christian community forum online. What was the reason? People were criticizing the church, including a moderator, and I was merely correcting faulty information they were providing, not bashing. The moderator said they were allowed to talk in such manner about what I believe because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints isn't a Christian Church in their eyes despite the fact that we are indeed Christians. However, he turned around and said I was not allowed to clarify anything people said.
I served a mission in Portland, Oregon and the rudest people weren't atheists, but other Christians. How can people be so discriminatory, yell profanities, and be very disrespectful to other Christian faiths and then turn around and say "I'm a real Christian"?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoI bought a $249 Xbox 360 and it came a $50 gift card. This was Walmart. I wanna take the 360 back; its unopened. Can I keep the gift card?
I've read their gift card policy and it doesn't say anything about returning it. In fact, it says gift cards aren't returnable.

Sorry for posting this twice, I forgot to add the second part. But yes, their policy states gift cards aren't returnable.

1 AnswerXbox6 years agoDo you believe the Bible has the final authority?
I've heard many Christians say "If it isn't in the Bible, it isn't true." I ask "Why" and the answer seems to be common: "The Bible has the final authority."
Jesus Christ did not say all authority is given to the books, He said all authority is given to HIM. While the Bible is true, its still black and white words that has gone through numerous translations.
Do you believe the Bible has the final authority or does God?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoDo you believe in the Bible because of faith or evidence?
As a Latter-Day Saint-Christian, I constantly hear "The Book of Mormon isn't true because there's no physical evidence for the existence of the plates, the places in the book, the people, etc."
There are many physical evidences for the authenticity of the Book of Mormon do exist, but that isn't the point of the question.
If you need evidence for the Book of Mormon, would you believe in the Bible if the evidences for it didn't exist? Hypothetical question of course.
If you believe because, even if just partially because, of evidence, then your belief isn't from faith. If you don't need evidences for the Bible and just go on faith, why can you not use the same standard for the Book of Mormon? That would be a double standard.
Even though there are various evidences that its true, I don't need those evidences. I don't need evidence that the Bible is true. All it really takes is asking God.
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do some Christians feel the need to protest us Mormons in a very hostile way?
Such as the protesters at pageants.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoDo you believe the book of James is scripture?
James says faith is dead without works which means although works don't save, they certainly play a role in our salvation. Do you believe James is scripture or not?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do Protestants, Catholics, Seventh-Day Adventists, and JWs not believe the Bible?
You guys believe IN the Bible as far as its existence goes, but why do you refuse to believe what it teaches?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoHow could God be everywhere and nowhere at the same time?
I've heard Protestants say they believe God is everywhere and nowhere while He also exists outside of time and space. Where do you get such ideas?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do Protestants claim to be of one church when their doctrines disagree?
I've heard members of various Protestant denominations say that all Protestant denominations are really of one church because they preach of Christ. How can they claim to be one church when their doctrines disagree with one another? If you are not one in doctrine, you are not one in God.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do Christians fall for the trinity theory?
And don't try listing scriptures to "support" it. I've heard all the references and all of them are taken out of context. Creeds doint count because they are not from God.
27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do some Christians think baptism isn't essential?
The Savior said you CANNOT enter the kingdom of God without it. He said we must believe AND, not and/or, be baptized to be saved.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoHow many Christians know how the Bible was put together?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoDo traditional Christians believe one has to believe in the Bible to be a Christian?
For a reminder the Bible did not exist during the lives of Paul, Peter, James, John, Andrew, Timothy, Luke, etc. While it contains the teachings of the Savior, I feel it is the belief in and following of the Savior Jesus Christ that makes one a Christian. As important as it is, I do not believe believing in the Bible is a requirement. I certainly don't believe believing in that fake trinitarianism mess is required. Denying the Trinity theory is denying that theory, it is not the same as denying Christ's divinity. One can believe in the complete divinity of Jesus Christ and not be a trinitarian.
