How did Roe v. Wade end up in the Supreme Court?

    It was actually a series of court decisions brought to establish the rights of a woman (particularly a married woman) as an individual and not just the property of her husband.

    It started with a case against a state law requiring a wife to get written permission from her husband to obtain birth control. I don't recall the second case bu the third int he series was Roe V Wade.
