When sending an email, what does Bcc mean please?

When sending an Email there is a space for "Bcc" above the subject. what is this please?

    It stands for blind carbon copy. It means that when you put someone's email address into that field, a copy of the email will be sent, but their name will not be seen by other recipients of the email.

    The Bcc: field is useful in instances when you don't wish to share your recipients' email addresses with everyone who receives your message.

    Blind CC. As in no one you send it to can see the other people listed, so it looks like they are the only ones who got it.
