I don't really pray for much other than the well being of people close to me. I also know that a prayer means more if it comes from the heart. Can I write a prayer in my notes and recite it everyday?

Instead of praying for their well-being, you should have that conversation with them directly, if you really care. Ask how they are doing. Ask how they've been. Ask if they need any help, and if there is anything you can do to help. Those are the actions of someone who really cares.
To answer your question: Yes, that's doable. However, you will need a pencil.

I don't know. Can you read, write, and speak?? Do you have time every day to mumble nonsense?? If your answer to either question is no, then the answer to your question is probably not.
