Philips sound bar?

I have a Philips bluetooth sound bar with a subwoofer, it was one of the hundred dollar ones but I need help on how to adjust the bass an treble for some reason whenever I'm watching something on tv an some kind of music comes on, the music part sounds twice as loud and when I'm playing games I hear to much of the music an explosions but I re set it to its original factory setting so why dos it sound like that? I would like some specific numbers tho on how to set it, both the bass an treble go up to 10 I'm not sure what the factory settings at tho, also I smoke sometimes could that couse my speaking to be sounding like that? They don't sound fuzzy like if they where blown out, I'm stressed about it cuz I barly got them back in August.
