You see I am currently unemployed an I need money for Christmas time. An this is the only way I can get cash in my pocket. I might be selling a real peice of history I feel like lol I mean I talked too a 18 year old girl who didn't even know what one is. Anyways I'm selling it an a few games an 3 controlers all for 65$ is it worth it just too buy gifts for my family this Christmas time? Or should I really hold on too it? I also got a ps3 too play but if it messed up I'm skrewed if I sell the n64. So what should I do?

I know it's Christmas and all - but I own original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GameCube, PS 1 and PS2 -- as well as a Sega.

For further information - I am a grandmother and enjoyed video games a lot. And I know young people these days think these are old-fashioned and have no value.

Which they don't - money wise. But I prefer the games on those systems. The Mario games and like that. And while playing them years ago - my grandkids always called me the "cool grandma".

I don't play with them much any more - but no one could get me to sell them or give them away.

I would say don't sell it. You aren't getting much for them and the money would be gone in a heartbeat.

I quit buying systems after the GameCube because they just became too complicated and fussy- which you have found out with the PS3. As well as I haven't seen any games that I would like with the newer systems. My adult son gave me a wii last year with a Mario game.

Try to think of something else to give for Christmas - that doesn't involve spending money. Make coupon books - a coupon to be redeemed for something done by you. Like "good for one lunch made by me". You don't say how old you are but you can make them appropriate for what you can do. "good for 3 hours doing yardwork". You think up the things.
