As an adoptee, the only thing I've been denied is the opportunity to view my original birth certificate.

On the flip side, take a look at the millions of non-adopted people living in third world countries and consider how many things they are denied by virtue of where they were born.

"Living better" is subjective. I may think I live better than most because I live in a place where it is sunny year round and the temperature rarely gets below 70 in the daytime. Others might think that they live better than I do because they have all four seasons and can experience snow and winter sports, the changing of the leaves, etc.

Why do you feel like you are denied certain things? I know that you're adopted and blame that for all your problems, but what does not being adopted have to do with your problems? I worked my butt off to pay my way through graduate school to get a job I enjoy and make decent money at so I can afford things like rent, vacations, gifts for family members, and things like that. If you don't have support and can't do these things on your own, that's sad. But it has nothing to do with anyone but yourself and possibly your family.

Give it a rest Lizz. Nobody is being denied anything including you. If you want a better life then work like the rest of us. If you want your own home then save up like other people do. You get out of life what you put in like the rest of us.

This has nothing to do with being adopted. You whine about your life and expect to be handed to you on a plate instead of working for anything.

Lizz, you ask the same questions over and over. You're not happy with the answers. So continuing to ask the same questions over and over are not going to make you happy.

As I and many other people have said, get therapy. That's the only way you're going to find the happiness you seek.

They get more money given to the carers.
