Should Penelope Cruz as an actress lose the accent?

She may not be capable of losing it - not everyone can.

But she's easily understandable, and many people find that accent very attractive.

It doesn't seem to have affected her career too badly so far, does it?

She Does NOT have that thick accent in Real life, People like it so she plays on it and makes it thicker than it really is !!

I agree with Cogito. There no reason for her to lose it.
