I need help convincing my parents to let me play Video Games.?

then when she reverts back to the "your arguing proves my point" bs here's what you say...

Well, I can't really help you convince your parents to let you play. If they're really that ignorant about gaming you pretty much gotta take responsibility and start acting more adult like and play by your own means. If you're looking to play the newer generation of games get a job and buy your own stuff. Try to keep it on the down low. However, I can help you if you want to play older games such as Zelda.

To play these games you're going to download emulators. Emulators work just like consoles. Note, using them will require basic computer knowledge. Once you have the emulator for your desired console you'll want to search around for a ROM for any games you want. Once you download the roam you load it into the emulator and play it. There's also some configuring you'll want to do under the control settings. Anyway, below is a link to a site that has a list of console emulators and it also has some game ROMs. Some times if they don't have it you'll need to look on other sites such as emu paradise. Also, depending on the console you will also need to download the BIOS for it which again can be found on the web.

You want to replay a game you've already played. And then say your not addicted. I love my Zelda though. Except for Twilight princess. Get a job if old enough. If not, theres nothing you can really do.

Tell them to grow up and stop leaving you in their past because they feel bad about it. You be the parent and ask them where their lives got screwed up. My mom is very old fashion and traditional also. Ask if they liked any musics, but their parents wouldn't allow them to listen to it. If they answer yes just give them a blank silent face.

Tell them you will only play on the weekends and they can give you a time limit.
