What legal action can I take?

I have a dog, a GSD mix. I live in an apartment, there are other dogs and a few others who are just as large as mine. I got home today and there was a note taped to my door saying "Clean up after your dog" and there was literal feces thrown against our door.

I ALWAYS pick up after my dog, personally I believe it's a pride of ownership to actually take care of your dog to the point to pick up it's waist. Almost all of my neighbors have seen me doing this, almost all of my neighbors personally know my dog by name.

This is not the first time we have had feces thrown against our door. Kids also throw rocks at it, hit our windows, and taunt my dog.

When can I start taking legal action against the parents/family of the children and potentially get them evicted? My landlord has been called about issues like this before and nothing has been done.

You should immediately get the police involved officially, so people can't later say "nothing happened" or "you should have reported it". The police are required, by law, to investigate crimes. Once the landlord knows who the criminals are, they are required to deal with it, for protection of all other tenants.

Yeh. There is probably much more conflict going on here than what you have shared. You have made enemies and now that it has gotten this point it probably can not be reconciled. Move, learn from your mistakes and quit thinking about how to get your neighbors evicted.

Throwing rocks is destruction of property, disturbing the peace and whatnot, throwing dog crap is destruction of property and endangering public health, call the health department and the police down, or move the hell out, you have crazy neighbors.

Find out who did this. Catch them one day, throw them up against the wall and tell him "If you throw dog **** on my door again, I will come back and get you and will force feed you dog ****."
