Specific Bluetooth sound bar settings?

I have a Philips Bluetooth sound bar with a subwoofer. I want to no specific bass an treble setting I can use to get the best sound possible for gameing. Both the base an treble go up to 10 so I'm not asking for you to have me go look it up in the Manuel and I'm not asking for any half *** answers please I want to no specifics for example a answer I'd be looking for is ( base: 5 treble: 2 ) also could you explain what differents the surround sound setting is when it's off or on like is it mostly for movies, music, games Ect and also what dos the subwoofer do exactly? Is it mostly for music games Ect or everything. I'm just lost in what role all these things take in making a sound diffents so I can mess with it my self and no what I'm doing but if that dosnt work out that's why I asked for your preference so I have something to fall back to. Iv posted this qestion over 5 times without getting the answers I was looking for so please don't just skim thro this and I'm not a big electronics person so if you could dumb it down a lil for me that be helpful, thank you
