What can reasonable liberals and reasonable conservatives do to fight for change?

There are waves of idiots, trolls, and blind followers who also vote in USA. What options do the intelligent minority on either side have to fix the problems that both sides agree exist?

    Yes, both sides agree an awful lot of idiots vote.

    Both sides also agree the liberals are totally dependent on those votes.

    Most people will only insult their opponents and sometimes i wish normal people could take over congress and the white house and do real good for the government.

    With the majority of Repu8blicans being self-serving wusses and the majority of Democrats being dishonest liars, no, nothing can be done.
