Why is it that any ex-Catholic Fundamentalist Protestant always reveals himself as deeply ignorant and misinformed about Catholicism?

Most of the converts to protestant fundamentals are ignorant of the history of the Catholic Church and bible.

Just why Blessad Cardinal Newman said: to study christianity is to study catholicism.

Are these actual former Catholics or just Protestant fundamentalists lying for Jesus because it's a day ending in Y? I tend to assume the latter.

Not sure why it's important that only ex-Catholic who become Fundamental protestants are the main focus.

Surely the question is whether the Catholic faith is true and correct or not, irrespective of who is saying it and what they know!

When it comes to Catholicism most folks, Protestant and even Catholics alike, have grave misunderstandings about the beliefs and practices of the Church and the Faith. Example: Catholics worship Mary and statues.

They like to lie, apparently. Most of the ex-atheist fundamentalists have no idea what atheism is, either.

Simply because one of the many lies they expect you to believe..... is that they are "ex-Catholic."

It appears that way no doubt because Roman Catholicism abhors exposure and the truth.

they don't like to toe the hard line on morals

they just mouth slanders about the faith they heard from anti-Catholics but make no effort to verify them

Because you see only what you want to see.
