First, you can try to change the password. If it doesn't work, you can just put his devices into blacklist. See how to operate here, http://www.mywifirouter.me/blog/how-to-block-other...
Or you can create a hotspot with My WIFI Router, which will turn your laptop into a virtual router just with a click. While this app will help you to manage the devices connected better. Just with a click, you can move his devices into blacklist.

1st Enable encryption, WPA2 with a good password.
Check your router's webpage*, and see if you can 'Whitelist' your own devices (via MAC address), and ban all others. You can add your roommates devices to the 'whitelist' when you want permit your roommate to use your router. Some routers might be easier/better at this than others.
*Usually something like 192.168.xxx.xxx like 192.168.2.1, or 192.168.1.1 if you're connected to it, look this up for your router.

To kick your roommate off your router, you simply needs to enable WPA2 encryption and pick a strong password that contain letters (both upper case and lower case), numbers and symbols. I hope this will be helpful to you.

How fast is your Internet. If it's low like a 1.5 it might kick you off. I use tonnage that problem when trying to connect to xbox 360s at once. That or some companies have a limit on how many computers you hook up but that can be bypassed

Hi, most routers have an option of filters. Filters are used to allow or deny LAN users from accessing the Internet. MAC Filters /IP filters can be used to grant/deny access to any specific computer.
Key: MAC address is unique address of the network card found on every pc.(Can be found by clicking START>RUN>CMD > IPCONFIG command on black screen.)

in your router setting you may be able to enable mac filtering. this way you can choose what device can have access to the network regardless if they know the password or not.

I kept getting tweeps on my wifi even though I had a secure 12 character PW they still got in. once I put the MAC addy filter in the router, with my computers MAC addy, stopped them cold cold cold. totally
