    a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    10^2 + b^2 = 24^2 ( hypotenuse long side)

    b^2 = 24^2 -10^2

    b^2 = 576 -100

    b^2 = 476

    b = square root of 476

    b= 21.8 rounded

    ur making a right triangle... use pythagorean theorem 10 squared plus 24 squared is 676...square root that and get 26
