Could this be Joseph Benavidez coming out party or will he suffer his first loss. Mauricio Herrera has fought some of the best and has only lost to close decisions.
He arguably beat Danny Garcia and he outboxed and won against Ruslan Provodnikov.
Mauricio Herrerera recently defeated Johan Perez and made him suffer his first loss.
This is a big opportunity right now for Benavidez. If Benavidez makes this look easy, then he truly is deserving of a title shot..but I doubt this will be an easy fight.

JBJ's got this, I think he'll really put on a clinic against Herrera.
Look, Herrera is an okay fighter. His record is somewhat deceiving IMO, yes he should've probably got the decision against Garcia, but I also thought he lost to Provodnikov and he definitely didn't deserve the Dallas Jr decision.
Herrera is 34, he's always in competitive fights no matter who his opponent is, he's taken a lot of damage. Benavidez is a prodigy whose career hasn't progressed the way a lot of people thought it would, and I think that changes this weekend.

I really hope so. I want him to do well, and this is a great fight for him. Benavidez needs this fight already, and I am glad he is matched up with herrera

That's one of the fights I'm looking forward too. Benanidez a pure boxer who's real tall and boxes very well, idk how herrera can win. I'm going with Benavidez
