Well, you can try searching for one via http://bronies.meetup.com/ just put in your zip code and it will come up with the closest one to you.
As for brony conventions, Equestriadaily always posts all of them, look for the one nearest you:

That is for 2014, since the 2015 listings aren't out yet, but all the conventions listed there I would imagine would continue on to next year.
