HR managers?

Update:

I have to ask an HR manager some questions about the field for a class I'm taking, but I don't know anyone who works in HR... if anyone is willing to help, I would be very grateful.

Questions are: What are the emerging trends in HR, the skills needed to advance in the HR field, and whether it is better to enter the field as a generalist or specialist?

Any other input would be great. Do you enjoy your job? How has technology changed the work you do?

    Is your assignment to "interview" an HR manager or to have an HR manager complete a "questionnaire"?

    If you are asked to "interview" an HR manager, this is done verbally.

    If you don't know an HR Manager, ask a family member or friend who works for a company with an HR manager, to see if they can establish an informational interview for you.
