Im about to buy my own truck and I am trying to make 100k. Is it possible?

4k a week can be done, but will you have enough miles and the pay to do that? Shouldn't be a problem making 100k, but 4k a week is over 200k a year, little different. Make SURE you buy a reliable truck and drive right! Having a lead foot can cost you $1000/month on fuel! If you have a reliable company just lease on to them, doing it 100% on your on isn't usually worth it.

Sure it's possible to gross 100k. But, since you have your own truck, you get to pay all the license fees, taxes, repair costs, fuel costs and so on; unless you lease onto a company that would pay some of those.

Some do. Owner operators can gross that but they have expenses. Those who make that are doing something that is risky like fracking etc. Trucker make closer to maybe 75 to 100 k. Owner operators have a one of the highest small business failure rate.
