Why do people say Eminem is OVERRATED? LONG -- Be intelligent don't troll.?

Well for one just because an album has a message behind it doesn't mean its a good album and Stans always say that "Eminem changed his life and matured" well that don't matter to me if he ain't putting out good music, which he is not. I actually like alot of songs from Encore and Relapse but they are still mediocre albums imo. Recovery had maybe 3-4 tracks I thought were OK:

Going Through Changes

25 To Life

Space Bound

Talkin' To Myself (Barely)

But yet its still a trash album.

MMLP2 is not decent by any stretch of the imagination. Absolutely NO songs that I thought were even decent and I can usually see the good even in bad albums so that's saying something.

Also, Berzerk a good song? Its very corny and lame. Rap God? That's the only track that's half way decent yet still garbage as he is no Rap God. Bad Guy? Nope. Wack. Its your opinion so whatever but I disagree.

I don't know why people think he is overrated, I personally think he is a lyrical genius and he uses pop singers in his songs because he can't sing and the hook is a lot better when its sung instead of rapped. and before people jump on the bandwagon and say he can sing, he said it himself in the intro of Halie's song

'Yo I can't sing to good

I wanna sing because I'm happy'

he did do quite well in 'Stronger then I was' though. People keep slating Encore but it had some great tracks on it like Mockingbird, Just Lose It, Mosh, One shot two Shot, Spend Some time, all great tracks and the number one song on the Album Like Toy Soldiers. I don't feel the album gets the recognition it deserves from his fans, his only s*** album I heard was Relapse although even that produced Beautiful which I consider is one of my favourite songs of his, pretty much the rest of the album was garbage though and we cant really say SHADYXV is a proper Eminem album as its more to do with Shady records as a whole I think Yelawolf is gonna do good though. as for the Greatest of all time, it has to be Tupac followed closely by Eminem, Biggie Smalls and Nelly.

I don't think Eminem is rated highly enough by people and although many people disagree he should be treated as a Rap God and as for the rest of the MMLP2 I personally think it is one of his better albums

Tbh I think anybody with a huge fan base like that is overrated. Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson and anyone like that are overrated; does that mean they've got no talent? Nope that's not true, all of those artist have talent. I know I'll get a lot of hate but I really don't care. To me no one deserve that much power in the music industry.

A white guy who can rap. I'm not a fan, but I do know their are a lot of young white kids out there that don'thave the stereotypical happy family with the white picket fence and freshly mowed lawn. Eminem represents the angry white america. Wiggas With Attitudes.

Because half his discography is trash and his Stan's think every song he makes is god sent.

There are rappers who can rap circles around Eminem that don't get as much recognition, Nas, Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Gift Of Gab, Andre 3000.
